hotel along light rail

Hello fellow Minnesotans!

My husband and I will be coming down to Canterbury and to a Twins game one weekend in Sept. We%26#39;d like to find a hotel near the light rail for around $100 a night. Any suggestions? The hotels downtown, within walking distance from the dome are just too expensive.

You could stay near the Mall of America and take the lightrail into downtown for the Twins.

If you want to stay downtown. try Priceline or Hotwire.....

Canterbury would be closer to get to from the MOA, and I think some hotels have shuttles to get there.

Basically you%26#39;ll find hotels clustered by the Mega Mall or downtown - both ends of the light rail.

My folks have had luck with Priceline bids for a downtown hotel, and you%26#39;ll be close to the light rail - which runs along 5th street.

If there%26#39;s not a conference in town, they%26#39;ve been to the Hyatt for close to $100 a few times.
