light rail pass and driving directions!

Does the light rail system offer 1 or 2 day passes you can purchase so you wont have to pay something every time you get off or on? We plan to use it quite a bit on our trip in late May. Also, whats the easiest way to get to the Hyatt downtown. Should we take 35W into downtown, or hop on 94 and take maybe the Hennepin exit? I just want to have a smooth, non confusing drive to our hotel. Thanks, anyone?

If you are heading up 35W into downtown Minneapolis -

here%26#39;s how you can get there. From leaving the freeway, the hotel is almost due west about 7 blocks.

It%26#39;s a tall white building - maybe 18 stories.

From I-35W heading north -- (Mapquest)

Look for DOWNTOWN EXITS sign as approaching

Take the 11TH ST / E GRANT ST exit. 0.1 mile

Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the 11TH ST ramp. %26lt;0.1 mile

Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto 11TH ST S. 0.2 miles

Turn LEFT onto 2ND AVE S. 0.1 miles

2ND AVE S becomes E GRANT ST. 0.1 mile

Turn RIGHT onto NICOLLET AVE/MALL %26lt;0.1 miles

End at Hyatt Regency-Minneapolis:

1300 Nicollet Ave # H, Minneapolis, MN 55403, US

You could take 94 to Hennepin, but you%26#39;ll have to manoever around Loring Park, and where the Hyatt is, is the last part of Nicollet Mall where cars can drive. One block north an it%26#39;s buses/taxis only.
