Hotel checkin b/4 noon - need help finding one.

My husband and I will be on the road traveling and Friday (4/18/08) we%26#39;ll be coming through the Twin Cities. We want to get a hotel/motel room to rest for 6-8 hrs and then get up and hit the road again. We realize that we will pay for the whole night, but that%26#39;s not an issue at all. We%26#39;ll gladly pay for the whole night to get a good rest during the day.

We need to have a room by 11am in the morning. I%26#39;m having a lot of problems b/c most ';checkins'; are after 3pm, and they won%26#39;t let us in any earlier.

Does anyone know of a hotel/motel that either doesn%26#39;t have a specific checkin time and/or would let us checkin before noon??

Most hotels, if they have a clean and vacant room available, will check you in early. They just can%26#39;t guarantee anything before 3pm, due to the time when the previous guests check out and the time needed to clean the room properly for the next guest.

make a list of 5 hotesl in the area

then call them around 10 p.m. the night before to see if they have rooms available still -

explain the situtaion, and they should be able to reserve something for arrival the next a.m.
