I will be in minneapolis for a convention in august staying at the marriot city center. I need to have a rental car to fri to monday and would like to know if there is any reasonable parking available downtown so I will not be charged the hotel parking rates. I am not afraid to walk several blocks to save on high parking rates.........thanks...pete

How much is the hotel charging per day?

There are a number of ramps nearby, but I doubt they%26#39;d be cheaper than the hotel lot. But it might be worth a comparison. In August, the Target Center lot near you will not be in use at event rates as often with the Timberwolves out of season.
