Hi all , me and 6 buddies are going to 4 baseball games in may .We are staying 4 blocks from the dome. I was looking for a good place or places we can go eat and drink. We are just average joes, so nothing fancy, good food cheep drinks and somewhat clean. good atmosphere would be nice, laid back but somewhat lively.

4 blocks from the Dome in which direction? Are you at a hotel (perhaps the Embassy Suites)?

That could help us locate some places close to you.

Also, what%26#39;s the age range of your group. I tend to group bars into age ranges, although there are a few that apply to everyone. Nye%26#39;s of course.

Go to the Local for food/drinks. get the big ginger but dont have more than two if you want to be able to find your way back to your hotel ;)

Also, Rossi%26#39;s steakhouse has a ridiculously awesome happy hour.

Both are a block from each other... about 8th and nicollet i want to say... you can look up the exact address.

PS. Rossi%26#39;s food specials are as good or better than their drink specials. $3 for half pound burger and fries - and it isnt a crappy burger.. its a nice steakhouse burger.

Or i think the prime rib is $7.

Drinks are half price.

I think happy hour is 4-7 every day.

Hubert%26#39;s is a sports bar of all sports bars right across the street from the Dome. If you are coming from CA to go to a game you need to down a few brews at Huberts.
