Mall of America from Airport????

We only have 2 hrs 20 min layover. Is it doable or are we dreaming? We realize we won%26#39;t see much.

Its do-able, light rail is about 10-12 minute ride right from the airport to the MOA, $2 each way. Just don%26#39;t take too much time, the damn thing is huge and time can slip away, not worth missing a flight for! Have fun...

I would say no, it isn%26#39;t doable. From the time you get off the plane, it will take you ten minutes or so to get to the light rail station. Then, if you have bad timing, you could wait fifteen minutes for a train. Then figure ten or twelve minutes for the ride to the mall. Add that up for the return, and you are looking at over an hour just in travel time. The airlines want you at the gate thirty minutes before departure, and you are now looking at about forty five minutes at the Mall of America. I wouldn%26#39;t risk it for such a short stay.

Ya know....Rocco%26#39;s right...you would also have to go back thru security for your flight and you never know how long those lines will be...c%26#39;mon back another time...

if you really want to see - go for it

just be really conscious of time.

there are several security lines options to go thru - I%26#39;ve found if I keep on walking to the right - you find a line that%26#39;s quick.

I say its do-able because Ive done it....but jump in a cab instead.It will give more time to shop and see the Mall not to mention better control to get back to the airport
