Can we get to the Metrodome from there via the light rail system?

How long a ride is it?

Is it safe on a Sunday afternoon?

It would be about a 10 block walk. Nominally about a mile. Yes, on a Sunday afternoon I would consider it a very safe walk.

It would be a two block walk to the 5th St. %26amp; Nocollet Ave. light rail stop and from there the Metrodome would be two stops away. About 4 minutes not counting the one stop time in between - maybe 5 minutes total.

I would walk or taxi it before going through the hassle of walking a few blocks, waiting for the next train departure and paying to ride (unless it%26#39;s designated a free zone downtown for Twins games -- I know they do it for Vikings games, not sure about Twins) and then riding the thing two stops.

A taxi would be $5. And walking would not be bad.
