We are starting to plan a family reunion for July of 09%26#39;. We have 24 people-ages 2-76. We all love the outdoors and enjoy lakes, hiking, fishing and swimming. Any suggestions of a place to stay for 3-4 nights ?? Thanks so much for your help !! Trip advisor has really helped us in the past. We do not all have to stay in one unit. We are willing to split up as long as the units are close by. We are willing to drive up to 2 hours from the Twin cities.
Need your help for family reunion! Please ! Outdoor familyBreezy Point Resort near Nisswa sounds as if it would fit the bill. I%26#39;ve stayed a couple of times and enjoyed it. Rentals available. Bar on the premises or just outside resort entrance. Game room on premises for the kids (pool too).
Great view of the lake. Fishing opportunities everywhere up there. Worth a look.
Need your help for family reunion! Please ! Outdoor familyThere%26#39;s a retreat center just 30 minutes south of St. Paul airport. It%26#39;s called Mount Olivet Conference and Retreat Center. I know of families who have had reunions there. They have a pool, game room, nature trail, bocce ball, basketball, pool table, ping pong, frisbee, tennis, board games, meals prepared (and snacks).. and more. Being it%26#39;s just a short drive from the south burbs, it%26#39;s an easy drive to the fabulous MN Zoo and the Mall of America if you want some outings. MN Zoo is one that I%26#39;d recommend - one of the best zoos in the country.

Lots of places near Brainerd, which is about a 2 and a half hour drive from the Twin Cities (but on a Friday the drive could be 3+ hours!):

Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria or Grandview Lodge in Nisswa are two suggestions. You can do some research on www.exploreminnesota.com it is a comprehensive website. Type in family reunion in the search bar and loads of places come up. Many of the resorts are very nice, but can be quite expensive depending on your budget.
