Best Bingo and Casino in Minnesota.....

Hi All! I%26#39;m a bingo and casino fan and was thinking of taking a road trip to visit some of them in Minnesota. Just wanted to hear from those with similar interests what their favorites were. I%26#39;ve only been to Mystic Lake (several times), and have always had a good time there (could have been because we%26#39;ve always been lucky there)...and I generally like the casino there, as well as the hotel rooms.

Hello, The Grand Casinos are very nice, one in Hinckly and one in the Millacs area. Also Northern Lights in Walker. All of these are nice and well run. Nice hotels and restaurants.

Thanks!! Have you been to Treasure Island? I%26#39;ve been to their website, and from that perspective it looks pretty nice.

Treasure Island is nice. Even though I live nearby I%26#39;ve stayed at the hotel and the room was adequate...clean, well appointed. Very nice tropical theme pool area. The casino is pretty large by mid-west standards...maybe a bit smaller than Mystic. They have a huge bingo room that is usually pretty busy. Also the casino has a fair sized seperate non-smoking area. I haven%26#39;t been there in awhile but they are expanding the hotel.

Downside at TI is the food with only the buffet (usually pretty good) and the coffee shop style restaurant which sort of hangs out into the smokey casino. They are really in need of a higher end steak/seafood restaurant and I can%26#39;t figure out why they did not add one with the current hotel expansion expected to open in August.

Another downside for TI when compared to Mystic or Grand at Hinkley is the lack of anything else nearby with Red Wing and Hastings being the closest towns of any size.

One plus for TI though is the river and their dinner cruise boat. The area around there is very pretty, not withstanding the nuclear power plant next door.

Thanks for your insight!! Very interesting!

Try Jackpot Junction in Morton. By Redwood Falls. One of my favorites because like Hinckley, the staff is friendly, food is great, liquor is available, rooms are very nice and odds are good.

Live music most of the time.

Thanks! I%26#39;ve never heard of this, though. Where is this??

75 miles south/west of Mpls., 40 miles south of Wilmar. About 1600 machines, 300 rooms.
