Hotwire mystery hotel - need help from a local resident

I found a hotel on Hotwire for $39. The location is marked on the map on their site, %26amp; it appears to be on Killebrew Dr. I typed in the address for Country Inn %26amp; Suites (2221 Killebrew Dr.) %26amp; it came up ';beside'; the $39 offered hotel. How sure can I be that they are offering me the Country Inn? What other hotels are right there? I%26#39;m picturing several hotels right there? Is that true? If so, could soneome tell me what other hotels are there, so I could research them. I%26#39;d like to be 90% sure of the hotel I%26#39;m getting b/f I book. I typically don%26#39;t use Hotwire b/c of the mystery factor.

Thanks for any help %26amp;/or comments.

There are several hotels right on that side of the mall. I think there is a Days Inn right next door to the Country Inn %26amp; Suites. There might be one more on that side of the mall, too. I would be careful with the Hotwire Maps; they are a little deceiving! There are hotels on all side of the mall. There are several on the east side and at least 2 on the south side (by IKEA). And many, many more within a 1 mile radius of the Mall. However, I can%26#39;t think of any really scary looking (haven%26#39;t stayed at any; we live 10 minutes away) places close to the Mall so I%26#39;d think $39 would be a great deal at any of these places!

Try going to google maps and typing in the killibrew drive address. then click on the ';street view';

The whole area is filmed

Thanks! I will think about this b/f booking w/ Hotwire. I just like to know exactly where I%26#39;ll be b/f committing. so Hotwire makes me nervous. I did check out the Google Maps--interesting feature. I%26#39;ve never used that b/f--pretty cool. Anway, thanks again for your comments.

The Googke feature is cool - except that it is also just abit too creepy. Our house is in there too!

Other than the Thunderbird Hotel I think most of the ones by the mall are pretty new.

The mall is about (i%26#39;m guessing) 15 year old, sonothing over there would be that much older unless it was one of the very few hotels that were close to the airport before the mall was built
