Honeymoon in Duluth

We%26#39;ll be spending a portion of our honeymoon in Duluth May 25-28. What are some romantic restaurants and places to go during our stay? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the ideas!

I will second the idea of Bluefin bay for a honeymoon. Such a great place to stay and the views of the lake are awesome. From here you could drive to Grand Marais for dinner.

Not trying to Hijack, but I am trying to plan a romantic weekend in Duluth during early August.

Anymore suggestions along these lines?

there are several hotels on Canal Park -

maybe find one with jacuzzi suite

If you want to stay closer to the Duluth area itself, here are a few.

For romantic restaurants in the Duluth area proper, you could try Midi at Fitgers (the hotel%26#39;s also quite nice), and Bellisio%26#39;s in Canal Park.

Perhaps the best restaurants in the area, though, are over in Superior: The Boathouse and Le Bistro (both of which get consistently good writeups in Mpls/St. Paul Magazine).

On the scenic route between Duluth and Two Harbors, Nokomis is also very posh.

We happened to stop at a new restaurant halfway between Duluth and Two Harbors called the Lighthouse on Homestead and had a great meal. Atmosphere was terrific along with the the staff. Very friendly and fun. I would recommend it highly!!!
