Hi,
I%26#39;m a first time visitor to Minneapolis end of Sept %26amp; looking for a budget, but very nice hotel. It must have a gym %26amp; breakfast provided. Any suggestions? Cheers
Minneapolis budget hotel city center
Budget hotel and gym aren%26#39;t exactly two things that go together, at least not around here.
Perhaps you could specify your nightly budget and what you plan on doing here so we can pinpoint a location and some options.
Minneapolis budget hotel city center
I checked and it turns out that the Holiday Inn Express on 11th Street in downtown does list ';fitness facility'; among its amenities.
That would certainly be a budget hotel.
Thank you for your help . . OK, breakfast doesn%26#39;t have to be included . . but the gym is a must %26amp; also internet %26amp; must be in the city center. I can pay about $100. Cheers
Ally,
I think you are unlikely to get all you want, especially after taxes are added.
Minneapolis is a real city - helthy- thriving- and with a geat downtown.
I recall reading that someone thought it cost too much to park here. Certainly more than in Chicaga or Boston.
This person clearly thought that this was a small town, with lots of vacant lots. It isn%26#39;t.
forget $100/budget/very nice. They do not go together here - certainly not downtown
You may find this ok.
It is not downtown, but you can grab a bus right in front:
Radisson University Hotel
The hotel is on the major road that feeds buses to the University. There are ALOT of busses headed downtown from there and it would be at most a 5-10 minute trip.
Priceline bidding is a good option for your needs. Try biddingfortravel.com and betterbidding.com for bidding hints. $60-$70 seem to be recent winning bids, and for that you can buy breakfast.
