does minneapolis have the equivalent of New Yorks Canal St? is there anywhere we should avoid due to ';fake'; items?
';fake items';I%26#39;m not aware of an area devoted to something like that. I%26#39;m sure there is a store or two that sells non-authentic items but nothing the city is notorious for, like NYC
';fake items';I agree. Minnesotans in search of that go to New York for it.
But if its a Louis Vvitton bag for $59.95 or a Rolex for $100 you should be skeptical.
There is a place with a few locations around called Star Sister that sells knockoff bags, but I%26#39;ve heard (from my wife) that they don%26#39;t try to pass them off as the real thing. That%26#39;s how she phrased it at least -- she loves the place. I%26#39;m not much of a shopper, unless we%26#39;re talking about items to make my lawn greener or to fix up the house!
Too tacky for us! lol!
I assume you mean will you get ripped off?
Is that right?
i just wanted to make sure as Canal Street can be a bit intimidating on your own. i am pretty sure most retailers are 100% legitimate.
dendenz1,
Minneapolis is a very mellow place.
It is very unlikely that you will encounter people who will be very ';in-your-face'; about anything.
