How is Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn?

My husband and I will be in Rochester for a 10 day stay for surgery at Mayo in July. We would like to have a kitchenette and a comfortable queen or king bed and a quiet clean room. We don%26#39;t want to have to rent a car so we prefer to be close to the clinic %26amp; hospitals and/or have access to free shuttle service. Can anyone recommend someplace in the $50-$80 price range? We are ';seniors';. How about Staybridge Suites?

How is Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn?

I have not stayed at this particular Staybridge. However, the lobby area is nice and it is a newer hotel with a great location. It is accross from St. Mary%26#39;s. I would be surprised if Staybridge came in around the $50 - $80 price range. The majority of Rochester hotels are not in that price range. You could ask for a Mayo discount. Residence Inn is also near St. Mary%26#39;s and is a newer hotel as well.

How is Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn?

Just returned from a visit to Mayo with my parents. Best deal I could find that included the easy access to the clinic, hospitals, free shuttles, etc. was Kahler Inn and Suites. They are more in the $100 range. Very friendly staff, extremely easy to get where you need to go via the tunnel connecting to the clinic, lots of restaurants close, easy parking, etc. Actually, there was no need to get the car out the whole time we were there. Plus they offer a complimentary breakfast. We were too busy to make it, but heard positive comments. Good Luck.
