Hello all, we had a wonderful trip up there in Minneapolis over the weekend. Thanks to all the advice and suggestions. We stayed at the Best Western Normandy and walked downtown to everything. Great Chocolate chip cookies they serve every night at the Best Western. We saw the 1st Ave club, ate at Hard Rock Cafe, shopped all up and down Nicollett. Had a great dinner at Ichiban, and an awesome breakfast at Hells Kitchen. Enjoyed the ride on the light rail down to MOA! An awesome place for a mall. Feet were starting to hurt after 5 hours of walking it. All in all had a great experience, many friendly people up there and terrific nightlife. Never felt threatened or unsafe in any way walking downtown, and thats after midnight! Minneapolis Rocks! Hope to get to visit again one day!
