Duluth on the 13th Rikkasdad

Rikkasdad

I%26#39;ve been going to Duluth with the same people for the last 9 years and I can%26#39;t think of anything new to see or do. We%26#39;ve seen the fish and the zoo, rode the trains and the ships, looked for hawks, watched waterfalls, waited for ocean going ships and walked through countless malls, shops, trails and parks. Any ideas?

I know Hawaii Dan would?

Love, your brother in law

PS The Black Woods Grill is still tops on my list

';Tuba - Thanks for your comments. Did you enjoy your hike in Polulu, and did you encounter any ';strange'; people as HD mentions?';

We%26#39;ve been down there three times, saw a few strangers but no strange people, not even HD.

You could go over to Superior, Bong Museum, the old whale back ship,... Barkers Island is a nice place to eat, great harbor view if you get a table near the window.

Head up the shore for a day trip -

Goosebery Falls %26amp; trails

Split Rock Lighthouse

Tettegouche Park %26amp; Shovel Point

Temperance River Park %26amp; Carlton Peak

Oberg Loop trail

that would get you about 85 miles away from Duluth along the shore if you made it all the way to Oberg Loop.

Note to the forum: MNangler will be skating the Northshore Inline Marathon on Saturday September 13th, and I will NOT. Feel free to go to the top of %26#39;Lemon Drop Hill%26#39;, or the top of the exit ramp from southbound Interstate 35 to S 5th Avenue to cheer him on. If you can%26#39;t pick him out, you should cheer on the other competitors.

Have you ever done the following?
