Hotel recommendations - Safe and has secure/free parking?

I will be in Minneapolis for a concert at the excel energy center. (spending the night in Minneapolis) We are driving, so we would like a place to not have to worry about our vehicle. (preferably with free parking)

Distance to the center isn%26#39;t really a concern.

Are there specific things you want to see in Minneapolis, that you want to stay downtown Minneapolis?

I know there%26#39;s a few new hotels in Woodbury, close to WI line, about 10 miles east of St. Paul.

Lots of land %26amp; free parking.

If you want downtown Minneapolis, most have underground parking for a fee / or valet.

Street parking might be free if you arrive on Fri after a certain time (5 or 6), and gone by Mon a.m. - some meters downtown are free on weekends %26amp; evenings.
