1hr 55m between connecting flights...is that tight?

I%26#39;ll be flying into MSP Thursday April 30 next year from London with NorthWest, before catching a connecting flight with the same airline to LA. My flight is due to land at MSP at 17:25, with the next flight at 19:20.

I realise I will have to clear immigration at MSP.

Any advise from people who have used MSP would be much appreciated.

It%26#39;s always tough to know how long it will take to clear customs as it depends on how many international flights are due in near the time of your arrival.

I have never had to clear customs at MSP to catch a connecting flight because this is always my end destination. However, I know that when it is crowded they will form priority lines for those with connections. So rather than jumping into the first line you see, ask an agent is there is a fast line for people with connections to make.

I think you will have sufficient time. And it could end up with your flight being the only needing to be processed, which means there will be no pinch at all.

And to answer your basic question, I think it will be tight unless your flight is the only one due in. But I think if you explain the timing of your connection they will usher you through more quickly. Just try not to make eye contact with the poor sheep in the slow line!

You should be ok. If not, they should accomodate you on next flight.

You%26#39;ll retrieve your luggage, clear customs %26amp; immigration, then RECHECK your luggage to LA. At that point, do NOT leave security thru the doors with all the other travellers leaving the airport to go home. There should be a staircase you can go up within security zone after rechecking bag to go to your gate to LA. The agents rechecking your bags can direct you.

I think you will be ok, it will probably take 30-60 minutes to clear, based on my experience.
